Sheryl Austin is a Partner in DMJ Wealth Advisors, LLC and has over 20 years of financial planning experience. Sheryl is a Certified Financial Planning Professional, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Certified Life Underwriter. In addition, Sheryl has her North Carolina Life and Accident license and Long-Term Care Medicare Supplement license.
She is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP). She has served on the SFSP Piedmont Business Ethics Committee for 3 years and is a past Co-Chair of the Society's Professional Day event. Sheryl is also a past recipient of the "Women in Business Award" by the Triad Business Journal.
Sheryl is the creator of WN2 (Women Experiencing New Adventures, New Friends), DMJ Wealth Advisors women’s initiative. This fulfills her desire to foster a community where clients and friends can meet new friends and experience new adventures through various women’s-focused activities. While she enjoys the rewards of helping all her clients, her work helping single or widowed women find their financial focus and discover a life filled with purpose is especially rewarding. Investments are a means to accomplish their goals – but they are not the focus of their life. Sheryl’s passion is sharing her client’s life – what makes them happy, get up every day, and keep going.
Because of her personal passions, Sheryl focuses her community involvement in organizations that benefit women and children.
Sheryl and her husband George enjoy being involved with their Life Community, Legacy Builders, at Westover Church and spending time with their children and grandchildren!
