Sheryl is the creator of WN2 (Women Experiencing New Adventures, New Friends), DMJ Wealth Advisors women’s initiative. This fulfills her desire to foster a community where clients and friends can meet new friends and experience new adventures through various women’s-focused activities. While she enjoys the rewards of helping all her clients, her work helping single or widowed women find their financial focus and discover a life filled with purpose is especially rewarding. Investments are a means to accomplish their goals – but they are not the focus of their life. Sheryl’s passion is sharing her client’s life – what makes them happy, get up every day, and keep going.
Because of her personal passions, Sheryl focuses her community involvement in organizations that benefit women and children. Her community involvement includes: Past President and current Board Member for Earlier.org (Friends for an Earlier Breast Cancer Test); Alcohol Drug Services of Guilford Board Member; President of Greensboro Women's Club; Greater Triad Division of March of Dimes Board Member. Alumni of Leadership North Carolina where she also served on the Service Committee.
Sheryl has lived in Greensboro since 1978. She and her husband George enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. When not assisting clients with their financial plans, or spoiling her 11 grandchildren, Sheryl and her husband enjoy vacationing in tropical places!
